I think the article makes a good point in that not everything other people do is about us! I caught myself frowning at a lady breastfeeding the other day. A newborn. At swimming lessons. Right after I'd been breastfeeding my (9.5 month old) bub. Seriously frowning at her - it was a bad frown! The reality ... I caught her out of the corner of my eye and thought "cool" and turned in her direction. At the time I turned, I was starving hungry, trying to get the older two in the shower, carrying a soaking wet baby who'd crawled in to the baby pool, the nappy bag, two swimming bags, two pairs of shoes and the older two had vanished into the pool I'd just told them not to get into. ARGH! So, yes, I was frowning. And not ANY part of it was about her. I do hope I didn't make her feel bad ... but goes to show how more often than not, it's not about the breastfeeding Mum. Hehehe – funny you add this.
